Junior Research Fellow  job recruitment in National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal) 

Project Title  :  “Design and Development of High-Efficient PFC based AC-DC LED Driver for AC-Grid Fed LED”

Eligibility :  First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale in B.Tech/BE in Electrical Engineering and First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale in M.Tech/ ME in the specializations of Power Electronics (or) Power Electronics and Drives (or) Power Electronics and Power Systems from a recognized technical institute or university as a full time program. The candidate must have M.Tech through GATE (or) a valid GATE score. Those who are appearing for the M.Tech/M.E final semester examination may also apply. Proof of M.Tech/M.E certificate has to be provided during the time of interview.

Desired Skills :  Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering subjects including power electronics. Knowledge of simulation software such as PSIM, MATLAB etc. Experience of working on implementation of hardware power converter modules/PCB design. Basic knowledge of VHDL/ DSP programming or equivalent to generate control signals.  Experience in on PFC converters & Hardware fabrication.  Ability to write technical research papers, work in a team and good communication skills.  Working knowledge of LED drivers for lighting systems is most desirable.

Salary :  1. Rs.25,000/- pm for first 2-years and Rs.28,000/- pm for third year. 2. HRA as approved by SERB and institute norms as applicable. 3. Selected candidate is eligible for on campus Hostel & Mess facilities at their own expenses.

Age Limit :  Preferably less than 30 years as on the last date for submission of application. However, age relaxation will be given for the deserving candidates
