Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (One number) in the sanctioned project funded by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF & CC), New Delhi. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the project. The work description, qualification details and monthly emoluments of personal required is given below.
1. Title of the project: Phytoremedial assessment of metal tolerant flora in the vicinity of metal based industrial clusters of Western Tamil Nadu
2. Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
3. Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA per month
4. Qualification (Essential): M.Sc. in Environmental Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Geology (candidate who has qualified with NET/GATE/ICAR/UGC-CSIR)
5. Qualification (Desirable): Candidates with working experience in the soil and plant sampling, field experience & heavy metal analyses will be given preference
6. In the case of non NET or above mentioned National level exams, the designation shall be Junior Project Fellow and the emolument shall be Rs. 20,000/- + HRA per month as per MoEF&CC notification
