JRF Genetics recruitment in Banaras Hindu University
Title : "Mapping of resistance gene(s) for spot blotch disease using molecular markers and searching the phenotypic traits linked with resistance to spot blotch disease in barley (Hordeum vulgare L.)"
Qualifications: The candidate should have a consistent good academic record with M. Sc. in Genetics and Plant Breeding/Plant Biotechnology/Life Sciences or related subjects with 55 % marks and NET/GATE qualified. Preference will be given to the candidate with experience in relevant area. Knowledge of techniques in molecular Breeding, phenotyping and genotyping for spot blotch of disease in barley/wheat will be added advantage.
