Project entitled: “Soil Loss Estimation of Dwarkeswar River Basin using Remote Sensing and GIS Techniques”
Essential Qualification: M.A./M.Sc. in Geography/Environmental Sciences/Remote Sensing and GIS, at least 55% marks with Specialization in Geomorphology/ Pedology/Environment with NET or equivalent qualification.
Desirable: Working knowledge in Remote Sensing (ERDAS) and GIS (ArcGIS). Experience in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and related Applications .

Upper Age Limit: 32 years
Fellowship: Rs. 25000
Application Fee: Forms can be collected from the University Sales Counter (Price Rs 250) OR may be downloaded from OR the attached form may be used. In case of downloaded forms, a Demand Draft of Rs. 250/- drawn in favour of the “Finance Officer, The University of Burdwan” payable at “Burdwan” must be enclosed.
