Project Title : “Land Degradation Mapping (Cycle-II)”

No. of Post: 04

Qualification : i. Post Graduate (M.A./M.Sc.) in Geography/ Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing /Geology with NET/ GATE or M.Tech. in Remote Sensing or M.Sc. (Agriculture) Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry with essential experience in satellite data interpretation/mapping with NET/ GATE. ii. Essential knowledge and expertise in digital mapping using open source GIS and remote sensing software. iii. Thorough working knowledge in ArcGIS and ERDAS software modules.
Desirable Qualification Experience in field survey and knowledge of land use/ land degradation / desertification mapping

Age limit : 35 years for men and 40 years for women
