JRF Geophysics recruitment in Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology
Project: A: MoES Sponsored project entitled “Seismicity monitoring and evaluation of active faults in Garhwal Himalaya and adjoining Shimla Hills region in Himachal Pradesh” under the supervision of Dr. Ajay Paul, Scientist ‘E’ and PI of the project.
Essential Qualification : M.Tech./M.Sc. in Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, Geology, Applied Geology with 1st Class (i.e. 60%) marks at post-graduation level. Desirable : Physics at Graduation level..

Remuneration : For CSIR-UGC NET-JRF qualified candidates:- Rs. 25,000 p.m. consolidated + Admissible HRA (presently @ 20%) initially for two years, and during subsequent year/s as SRF a consolidated sum of Rs. 28,000/- p.m. + Admissible HRA subject to satisfactory performance is admissible. For non-CSIR-UGC NET-JRF qualified candidates:- Rs. 12,000/- p.m. consolidated + Admissible HRA (presently @ 20%) initially for two years, and during subsequent year/s as SRF a consolidated sum of Rs. 14,000/- p.m. + admissible HRA subject to satisfactory performance is admissible.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years.
