JRF Life Science Job vacancies in Institute of Liver &
Biliary Sciences (ILBS)
Project Title :
A) Project-1: To study the mechanisms of immune exhaustion
in cirrhosis and development of liver failure
B) Project-2: To study the efficacy and safety of novel interventional approaches, including transplant of bone marrow cells / or exosome infusion from allogeneic healthy bone marrow in the management of cirrhosis
C) Project-3: To study the mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy for the effective management of acute on chronic liver failure.
D) Project-4: Development of decellularized liver matrix based BAL bioreactor as an extracorporeal support for maintaining metabolic demand of body and providing time for native liver regeneration in Acute and Acute on Chronic Liver Failure.
No of Post : Four (one in each project)
Qualification: 1st class M.Sc. in any discipline of Life science. Qualified for NET, GATE or any equivalent national level exams. Desirable: - Experience in Immunology, stem cell culture, Liver cell culture, Animal handling
Fellowship: As per the current guidelines of CSIR
Duration: 3 year (initial appointment will be only for one year which will be extended best on performance)
