Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Life Science/ Agriculture/ Biotechnology Plant Breeding/any other relevant subject. Desirable: Candidates with experience of research in the area of the Project related field will be preferred. NET qualification preferred.

Pay Scale : Rs. 25,000 + 15% HRA per month for NET qualified candidate or Rs. 22,000 + 15 % HRA for Non- NET qualified candidate.
Mode of Selection: The final selection of candidates will be decided based on his/her merit and performance in the written test and / or interview.

back to 1903 when the Indian Tea Cess Bill was passed. The Bill provided
for levying a cess on tea exports - the proceeds of which were to be
used for the promotion of Indian tea both within and outside India. The
present Tea Board set up under section 4 of the Tea Act 1953 was
constituted on 1st April 1954.
