Job Description
Applications are invited for the post of JRF in “Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) (CRG/2020/002294) grant ”under Dr. Tanveer Ahmad.
1.Name of the Post: JRF
2.Project entitled: “Altered MICU1 expression in impaired mitochondrial calcium handling during oral submucous fibrosis”.
3.Educational Qualifications: MSc (in any area of Life-sciences) with a minimum of 55 % aggregate marks (equivalent CGPA). A prior research experience in molecular cloning, cell culture, mitochondrial dynamics, gene editing, and immunoprecipitation is desirable. Candidates with NET/GATE/CSIR/UGC/ DBT/ICMR JRF/DST INSPIRE-PHD fellowship should apply.
4.Fellowship: - As per The DST-SERB guidelines
5.Duration: The appointment will be purely on temporary basis for first year initially which can be further extended based on the performance of the candidate. However, the duration of JRF is coterminus with the duration of the Project and will have no financial liability beyond duration of the project
