Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in an ICMR funded research project on Molecular pathways involved in colorectal cancer in the Laboratory of Dr. K B Harikumar at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate must have First class MSc/ MTech/ MVSc/MPharm in any branch of Life Sciences from a UGC recognized University. Preference will be given to those who qualified CSIR-UGC/ICMR/DBT JRF or GATE/ NET (LS) qualification.

Two years of documented experience in mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry and pre-clinical mouse models of colorectal cancer.

AGE:Below 30 years as on November 06, 2020. Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms.

FELLOWSHIP:Rs. 31,000/- + 16% HRA per month for NET/GATE (with valid certificate) or Post Graduates in Professional Degree courses. MSc degree holders who do not have NET/GATE certification will be eligible for Rs. 12,000/- + 16% HA per month.

DURATION:One year or till termination of the project whichever is earlier.
