Project: “Development of a geomechanical model for cyclic CO2 injection and methane release through experimental studies of matrix shrinkage/swelling, mechanical properties, and permeability of coals”
Duration: Three years.
Essential Qualification: M.E./M.Tech in Mining/Civil/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university/institute with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a ten-point scale throughput from Class X to the qualifying degree.
The M.E/M.Tech program must have been completed through qualification in GATE.
Desirable Qualification: Strong grasp on Mechanics and Mathematics
Age limit: Preferably below 30 years Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- per month for the first two years. After satisfactory completion of JRF period, the post can be upgraded to Senior Research Fellow (SRF) with
Fellowship of Rs. 35,000/- per month. Additionally, House Rent Allowance @ 8% may be given if hostel accommodation is not provided.
