Qualification: B.Tech. / B.E. or equivalent – Mechanical, Production,
Mechatronics (minimum 65% or equivalent CGPA)
with NET/GATE* qualifying examination with 3 years’
experience working with mechatronics systems and
techno-economic viability analysis.
* The requirement of NET/GATE examination for the
selection to the post of JRF/SRF may be relaxed for
the candidates who have graduated from Centrally
Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of
more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).
Job Description: Design, prototype a small solar panel cleaning robot (less than 1.0 kg) which can traverse on the panel without relying on the support structures of the panel. The final deliverable should be a minimum viable product which can be deployed autonomously in outdoor conditions.
