JRF Microbiology job recruitment in Guru Nanak Dev University.
DBT sponsored project “Bioprospecting for novel lignocellulolytic glycosyl hydrolases and auxiliary enzymes from diverse thermophilic fungal strains using proteome based approaches (DO.No. BT/PR15271/PBD/26/509/2015)
Qualification: The candidate must be M. Sc (Microbiology)/ M. Sc (Fermentation and Microbial Technology) / M. Sc (Biotechnology) or other modern area of life Sciences with at least 55% marks. In case no suitable NET qualified candidate is found suitable then other candiadtes can be considered for selection as project fellow (@ fixed emolumensts of Rs 12,000/- pm). Duration of Project is three years.
Desirable qualification: The candidate should preferably have working knowledge of Microbiology techniques, strain development, cloning expression and fermentation.
