Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow for the following time-bound
Indo-Russian joint project:
Project title: Basic Approaches for the Development of Biochar and Rhizobacteria Based
Bioformulation and Its Effects on Crop Growth and Productivity in Heavy Metal
Contaminated Arid/Semi-Arid Regions in India and Russia.

Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
No. of Post: One (Duration: 2 years)

Fellowship amount: Rs.31,000/- pm +16% HRA
Age Limit: 28 (Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per Govt. of India rules)
Prescribed educational qualification: M. Sc. in Environmental Sciences/Microbiology/ Environmental Biotechnology/Plant Biology.
Preference: Previous research experience in the area of plant-microbe interaction, plant stress physiology, bacterial diversity analysis and/or phytoremediation will be an added advantage. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared NET/GATE or equivalent examinations.
