B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.E. in Mining
Engineering/Chemical Engineering/ Petroleum Engineering/ M. Sc. Tech/M. Tech. in
Applied Geology from reputed Institute. The applicant with Bachelor’s degree in
engineering must have a minimum of 70 percent marks/7.5 CGPA and with Master’s
degree in Engineering/Science must have minimum 60% marks or CGPA 7/10 in the
aforementioned disciplines. The applicant must be GATE/NET qualified for
admission to Ph.D. programme of the Institute.
Desirable : Candidates with excellent academic background,
working experience and interest in pursuing Ph.D. at IIT(ISM) will be
preferred.
Age and Relaxation
(if any) : The upper age limit is 28
years at the time of interview (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as
per GOI rules)
Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated) in the first two years and Rs. 28,000/- per month (consolidated) in the third year
