Job Description
Project Title : “LHC Studies of Beyond the Standard Model Physics”
Qualification : The applicant should have completed his M.Sc (Physics)/B.Tech/M.Tech with at least 60% marks, and qualified CSIR-UGC JRF/NET or GATE (Physics). Applicants who have taken courses in Quantum Field Theory/Particle Physics are preferred. Previous experience with high energy physics software and familiarity with programming languages would be an added advantage. The JRF is expected to work on issues relating to both model building and phenomenological aspects of Beyond the Standard Model physics. The bulk of the work would be centered around the phenomenology of new heavy scalars and gauge bosons at the LHC or ILC.
