JRF /Project Assistant Metallurgical Job Opportunity In NIT Warangal
Project titled: “National Centre for Development of Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Processes for Clean Coal Technologies for Power Applications”
JRF/1 Post
Project Assistant /1 Post
Qualification requirements for Junior Research Fellow (JRF): B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech in Metallurgical/ Materials/Metallurgical & Materials/Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) with GATE qualification. OR Bachelor’s in Metallurgical/ Materials/ Metallurgical & Materials Engineering with valid GATE score and at least CGPA of 8.0/10 or 75% of marks.
Qualification requirements for Project Assistants (PA): B.E/B. Tech. in Metallurgical/ Materials/ Metallurgical & Materials Engineering.
Desirable Qualification : Candidates with relevant experience in industry / R&D lab are preferred.
Note: For candidates with B. Tech. with valid GATE score and at least CGPA of 8.0/10 or 75% of marks OR M. Tech. with GATE score, there is a possibility to register for Ph.D. in NIT Warangal under the guidance of Principle Investigator (PI).
Pay Scale : For JRF: at the rate of Rs.31,000/- per month. House Rent Allowance (HRA), as applicable, will be paid to the JRF if hostel accommodation is not provided. Project Assistant: at the rate of Rs. 22,000/- per month (consolidated).
