Project Title  :  Renewable Energy Driven (LC-RED)Water treatment Solution Centre

Eligibility :  Ph.D. from recognized University in either of the following discipline: Botany, Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Environment, Bio chemistry and Biotechnology with master degree related to plant science.

Desired Skills : Experience of developing different variety of plants in saline condition, keen interest in crop development and Protection and study of behavior and relative plant growth under exposure of different industrial waste water. Knowledge of phytoremediation, floating raft and other biological tools for pre- treatment of water to remove hazardous constituents from water like Fluoride, Arsenic, and heavy metals like Cd, Zn, Co, Mn, Ni, and Pb will be an added advantage. The candidate will be exploring all means to develop sites for these tests and integration of the pre-treated water to the next physical water treatment processes like Electro coagulation, Chemical coagulation, Electro dialysis, Multi effect distillation and Reverse Osmosis etc. The candidate will be responsible for overall monitoring and coordination among all consortium partners: PDPU; CUG, Gandhinagar; BU Rajasthan; GBPU Uttarakhand.

Fellowship :   Rs. 55,000.00 per month
