JRF/ Project Fellow Remote Sensing job opportunities in Central University of Jharkhand
Essential qualifications: Minimum 55% in M.Sc. / M.Tech or equivalent degree in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geoinformatics/ Geoinformatics/ Geoinformation Science, OR
M.Sc./ M.Tech in Forestry/ Botany/ Plant Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Civil Engineering/ Environmental Science/ Environmental Technology/ Geology/ Applied Geology with PG. Diploma in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geoinformatics/ Geomatics. Preference may be given to the candidates with proven research experience & field knowledge as per requirement of the projects.
Desirable qualifications: Candidates having experience and knowledge in large data handling (satellite data, satellite data products, Census, meteorological data etc.), working knowledge of Hyperspectral/ Microwave Remote Sensing, R, Python, MATLAB software(s), GPS, DGPS etc., and Forest/ Geology related field survey will be preferred.

Emolument (Per month): Rs. 25000 + HRA for 1st and 2nd Year and thereafter Rs. 28000 + HRA for 3rd Year as SRF. HRA shall be paid as per the University rules. (Candidates, with M. Sc. Degree and without NET if selected, will be paid @ Rs.16000/- + HRA per month for initial two years and Rs. 18000 + HRA for the remaining periods with the designation of Project Fellow/ Senior Project Fellow respectively.)
