JRF /Project Fellow Zoology/Field Assistant Jobs recruitment in Zoological Survey of India purely on temporary basis

Project-1: Assessment Of Amphibian Diversity Of Central India And Identification Of Cryptic Species Using Integrative Taxonomic Approach (Junior Research/Project Fellow-1)

Project-2: Studies On The Moth Fauna Of Pachmarhi Biosphere Reserve - An Assessment Of The Species Richness, Relative Abundance And Distribution As Environmental Indicators (Junior Research/Project Fellow-1; Field Assistant-1)

Essential Qualification (JRF):
Master degree in Zoology/ Environmental Science/ Wildlife Science/ Life Sciences with Zoology as a major subject in undergraduate/post graduate course from a recognized University with minimum of 60% marks.

Essential Qualification (FA): B.Sc. with Zoology as one of the subjects from a recognized University with minimum of 60% marks. Desirable (JRF/FA): Research experience in taxonomy, systematics, zoology or allied subject, field survey experience in wildlife, wildlife photography, knowledge of Computer and basic field data collection.

Fellowship (JRF): Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA (NET/GATE qualified) per month for the initial two years and in third year Rs 28,000/- plus 16% HRA. In case of Non-NET qualified, fellowship of Rs.16000/- plus 16% HRA per month for first two years and Rs.18,000/- plus 16% HRA will be provided.

Remuneration for Field Assistant: Rs.8000/- (consolidated) per month.

Upper age limit : 28 yrs. on the date of the interview for JRFs and 40 years for Field Assistant
