JRF / Project Job Opperchunity in North East Institute of Science & Technology on purely temporary basis

Project Title: Chemical profiling, quantification of bio-active constitutents of ethno-medicinal plant of Arunachal Pradesh.

JRF / Project/01 Post

Essential Qualification: 1st Class MSc Specialization: Organic / Inorganic / Physical Chemistry or Biochemistry

Desirable: NET (JRF/LS) qualified

Remuneration: For NET qualified candidate: Rs. 25000/- per month for 2yrs and Rs. 28000/- for 3rd year (+ 8% HRA) For others: Rs. 12000/- per month for 2yrs and Rs. 14000/- for 3rd year (+ 8% HRA)

JRF / Project/01 Post

Project Title: Chemical investigation and therapeutic evaluation for linking marker compound(s) with antidiabetic potential of young shoots of Wendlandia glabrata DC and fruits of Phoebe Cooperiana, used by indigenous ST people of AP.

Essential Qualification: 1st Class MSc / MPharma Specialization: Organic Chemistry / Pharmacognosy / Pharmacology.

Desirable: NET (JRF/LS) / GPAT qualified

Remuneration: For NET / GPAT qualified candidate: Rs. 25000/- per month for 2yrs and Rs. 28000/- for 3rd year (+ 8% HRA) For others: Rs. 12000/- per month for 2yrs and Rs. 14000/- for 3rd year (+ 8% HRA).

Project/01 Post

Essential Qualification: 1st Class MSc Specialization: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Zoology / Botany.

Remuneration: Rs. 12000/- per month for 2yrs and Rs. 14000/- for 3rd year (+ 8% HRA).

Max Age: 30 yrs

Place of Posting: Branch Lab, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.

Stipend: As per sanction and guidelines of the Funding Agencies

Duration: The project completion date may be extended depending upon the grant of the Funding agencies.

Note: It is co-terminus along with the duration of the project and will not confer any right for regularization in the institute. The Project Workers may be allowed to do his/her PhD work based on CSIR guidelines. The candidates should have knowledge of computer for day to day work.
