JRF/ Project Staff Physics Job vacancies in IIT Mandi
Title of the Project: “Exploring the tunability of magnetic structures in multiferroic compounds YBa1-xSrxCuFeO5 (0 x 0.6) and LnBaCuFeO5 (Ln = Nd, Ho, Yb) by employing temperature dependent neutron diffraction”.
Eligibility Criteria: M.Sc. (Physics) or M.Tech. (in relevant area) or equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates who have passed NET/GATE exam will be eligible for JRF position. Candidate with the experience in working in experimental condensed matter physics laboratory will be given preference for interview call.
No.of Post: 1
Fellowship: Junior Research Fellow (with NET/GATE qualification)- Rs. 25000 per month, and Project staff (without NET/GATE qualification)- Rs. 14000 per month. These fellowship amounts will be enhanced to 28000/- and 16000/- per month respectively, after successful completion of two years.
Age Limit: Upper age limit is 28 years as on Feb 1, 2017.
