Title : “Study of the effects of Climate Change on Hydro-meteorological processes: Droughts and Floods at Different Spatial and Temporal Scales in Eastern India”.
(a) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 2 posts
Qualification : B. Tech. in Civil Engg./Agricultural Engg., and M. Tech. in Water Resources Engg./ Soil & Water Conservation Engg./ Land & Water Resources Engg./ Hydrology OR M. Sc. in Meteorology/Atmospheric Sciences with 2 years research experience in climate sciences OR M. Tech. in Meteorology/Atmospheric Sciences/ Climate Sciences.
Pay Scale : Rs. 25, 000/ per month
(b) Research Associate (RA) – 1 post
Qualification : Ph.D. in Hydrology/Water Resources Engineering or equivalent/ /Meteorology/Climatology OR M.E./M.Tech. in the aforesaid disciplines with 3 years of pertinent research experience At least one good publication in Science Citation lndexed (SCI) journal. Desirable: Candidates having relevant research experience, particularly field experience and with additional relevant journal publications in the pertinent area will be preferred.
Pay Scale : Rs. 36,000/ to Rs. 40,000/ per month
