JRF/ Research Associate /Traineeship job recruitment in Central Agricultural University -College of Post Graduate Studies, Umiam, Meghalaya on temporary basis
Project: Understanding phosphorus deficiency and iron toxicity tolerance in rice under acidic soils of North East Hill Region
(DBT, GOI)
Qualification: M.Sc. in Plant Molecular Biology &/or Biotechnology / Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Botany/Horticulture with working knowledge of
PCR-based markers.
Desirable: Experience in breeding/molecular work in plants or 'omics' related work in plants
Pay Scale : Rs. 12000
2 Research Associate -1/1 Post
Qualification: Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology &/or Biotechnology/ Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Botany/Biochem with working knowledge of PCR-based markers.
Desirable: Experience in Molecular marker assisted breeding of rice, experience in writing reports/data analysis
Pay Scale :Rs.36,000
From QTL to Variety: Genomics assisted introgression and field evaluation of rice varieties with genes/QTLs for yield drought, flood and salt stress' (DBT, GOI)
Qualification: M.Sc. in Genetics & Plant Breeding/Plant Molecular Biology & or Biotechnology /Botany with working knowledge of handing plants in field conditions.
Desirable: Experience in breeding/molecular/field work in plants
