JRF/SRF Chemistry recruitment in Bengal Engineering and Science University
Candidates, who are already working in a research project in any University/Institute and satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria as mentioned above, may be allowed to appear in the interview and if selected, a no objection certificate (NOC) from the Principal Investigator (PI) of theconcerned project is needed for availing the fellowship.

JRF/SRF Chemistry recruitment in Bengal Engineering and Science University
Project title: “Development and Application of cost-effective ab initio methods for strongly
correlated electrons: A challenge for electronic structure theory”.
Position: Junior Research Fellow (One)
Fellowship: Rs.12000/14000(JRF/SRF)per month(consolidated) with other allowances as
admissible by CSIR, Govt. of India rules. The Fellowship is currently available for 2 year and 8
months (approx.)
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Chemistry (with Physical Chemistry Specialization) from any
recognized Institute/ University with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a ten-point scale
(throughout from class Xto the qualifying degree).
For SC/ST/ Person with Disability (PwD) category, a minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on ten-point scale(throughout from class X to the qualifying degree) is required.CGPA will not be converted into percentage marks and vice versa.Candidates should also beNET / GATEqualified.
