JRF/ SRF  job opportunities in Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT)

Project Title  :  'Development of Experimental Watershed and Hydrological Modelling for Improvements in Performance of Watershed Intervention Works'

No. of Post  :  02 (JRF-01, SRF-01)

Department : Civil Engineering

Qualification :  The applicant must have a First division (60% or equivalent CGPA) in B.Tech. (Civil /Agriculture Engineering/Computer Sc. & Engineering / IT) and Master's degree in the relevant branch of Engineering/Technology (Civil Engineering/ DAM/ Water Recourses Engineering/ Remote sensing/Agriculture/ Hydrology/Watershed management) or equivalent with CGPA not below 6.5 on a 10-point scale or 60% marks (where CGPA is not awarded). Freashers and highly motivated, research oriented candidates are encouaregd to apply. Relevant field experience in hydro-meteorological measurements, hydrological data analysis and strong back ground in the area of hydrological modelling, water resources, remote sensing/GIS, watershed development and management are encouraged to apply. Research experience in the relevant area, supported by publications in high impact peer reviewed international journals would be a plus. Very good English language (written and oral) and presentation skills.

Fellowship :  As per DST rules. (INR 25,000/- pm (consolidated) + HRA)
