Project entitled: “Protein Expression Profiling of Labeo rohita using Quantitative Proteomics'
JRF /SRF Fisheries Science/1 Post
Eligibility : Master of Fisheries Science / M. Sc. (Life Sciences)/ M.Sc. (Zoology) / M. Sc. (Biotechnology)/ M. Tech (Biotechnology) with 4/5 years Bachelor Degree. Desirable: Work experience in proteomics.
Age Limit :Below 35 years for men and 40 years for women
Method of Selection :Selection shall be done on the basis of the interview.
Pay Scale: Emoluments With NET qualification: Rs.25,000/- + HRA (30%) per month for the first two years and after committee assessment, Rs.28,000 + HRA (30%) per month for the 3rd Year. No accommodation will be provided. Without NET qualification: Rs.12,000/- + HRA (30%) per month for the first two years and after committee assessment, Rs.14,000 + HRA (30%) per month for the 3rd Year. No accommodation will be provided.

Eligibility Minimum :Graduate Degree in Fisheries Science / Life sciences / Biotechnology/Zoology Desirable: Work experience in preparing and running gel. Method of Selection Selection shall be done on the basis of the interview.

The Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai was established in the year 1961, under the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India. The Administrative control of this Institute was transferred to ICAR in 1979. Subsequently, the scope and mandate have been widened to include education, research and extension.
