Population Dynamics, Space Use, Movement and Diet of Leopards in Junnar Taluka,
Maharashtra for Human Leopard Conflict Mitigation’
Junior Research Fellow
– Ecology
No. of Post : 01
Qualification : Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/
Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Science/ Agriculture/Environmental Sciences/Statistics
with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University
Desirable : Candidate(s)
with prior experience in sampling design and animal abundance estimation are
preferred. Prior experience of sampling using camera trapping, distance
sampling and radio-telemetry. Knowledge of GIS and GPS is desirable. Should be
able to undertake arduous field work under rigorous conditions.
Emoluments : Rs.
31,000/- + HRA
Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years as on the date of
interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to
SC/ST/OBC/PH/Women Candidates may be relaxed as per the rules.
Junior/ Senior
Research Fellow – Sociology

Qualification : Masters’ Degree Social Sciences or related
subjects with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
Minimum 2 years post masters research experience required for SRF
Desirable : Candidate(s)
with prior experience in conducting socio-economic surveys related to
conservation are preferred. Should be able to undertake arduous field work
under rigorous conditions.
Emoluments : Rs.
31,000 (JRF) / 35,000 (SRF) + HRA
Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 (JRF) and 32 (SRF) years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Women Candidates may be relaxed as per the rules.
