JRF/1 Post
Project: “Hyperspectral remote sensing approaches to evaluate soil quality and crop productivit y of central India” at IISS, Bhopal
Essential: M. Sc. in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry/ Soil Physics / Agricultural Physics with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have N.E.T./GATE qualification. Desirable: Basic knowledge of Remote sensing GIS and database management.
2. SRF/1 Post
Project: “Impact of viscose staple fibre industry treated effluent on soil health and crop production surroundin g Nagda, M.P.”
Essential: M. Sc. in Soil Science /Soil Chemistry & Fertility/Soil Chemistry/Agricultural Chemistry/Chemistry/ Environmental Science with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have N.E.T./GATE qualification .Desirable: Knowledge and experiences on analysis of soil physico-chemical properties.
Pay Scale: Rs.25000/- per month (fixed) + HRA for first & second year in 3rd year Rs.28000/- per month (fixed) + HRA
3.SRF /01 position
Project on: “Development of an automated soil nutrient sensing system.”
Essential: M. Sc. in Soil Science /Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have N.E.T./GATE qualification .
Desirable: Experience in nutrient sensing / remote sensing /GIS/ Computer data processing/Computer Software
Pay Scale : Rs.25000/- per month (fixed) + HRA for first & second year in 3rd year Rs.28000/- per month (fixed) + HRA NASF
*As regards, NET examination, any national level examination conducted by the Central Govt. Departments/ agencies for admission to Ph. D. programme are considered as NET for the purpose of RA/SRF.
Age limit : 35 years for Men and 40 years for women (relaxation of age in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per Government norms).
