ESSENTIAL M.Sc degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding/Bio-technolog/Molecular Biology/Genetics/Bio-chemistly/Botany or equivalent with 4 years/5years of Bachelor's degree. OR Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree should have NET qualification.

Desirable: Working experience on molecular tools in crop plants and experience of working in breeding for salt tolerance in crop plants.

Pay Scale : JRF  Rs. 25000, SRF: (with 2 years Experience) Rs. 28000

Qualification:  M.Sc. in Soil Science, Agronomy. Agricultural Engineering, Microbiology or relevant agricultural science with 4 years15 years Bachelor's degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in basic sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualified. 

Desirable: Experience in gas chromatography or climate change studies in agricultural systems.
