a)Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
b) Manage development and support projects under specified practice.
c) Ensures that appropriate security and controls are instituted and followed.
d) Supports cross-training of the resources for optimal utilization. Effectively communicates with the customer on a day-to-day basis.
e) Implement new products and enhancements as they are required.
f) Expert in every phase of SDLC (Software Life Cycle Development).
g) Provides inputs for IT tactical planning. Manage IT Vendors for outsourced work orders.
h) Manage projects by metrics collection and analysis
i) Command on Skill sets of Android with a minimum of 1-year hands-on experience in the android platform.
j) Analysis, Design, Coding, & Implementation.
k) Execute all phases of software application projects including resolving issues and helping to ensure successful delivery.
l)Proactively adapt to the changing business and technological landscape of various mobile application development platforms
m)Design mobile solutions and add value in all stages of project work (definition, development, delivery, deployment)
n)Play a lead role in evaluating new mobile technologies and develop plans for their implementation.

Desired Candidate Profile:

a) 1 year of experience in Android SDK.

b) Experience with SQLite database, Java.

c) Experience in developing Location Based Services.

d) Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.

e) Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

f) Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

g) Should be aware of platform-independent mobile application development trends/ tools.

h) Experience in developing enterprise mobility is desirable.

i) Good interpersonal skills, for effective communication with business and development teams.

j) Proven track record of successful and timely project delivery.

k) Android, Core Java, XML, Eclipse as IDE, Linux.

l) Well Conversant on Android along with other mobile platforms for Mobile Application.

m) Development and integration.

n) Exposure to SLA (Service Level Agreement) creation and Management.

o) Exposure in metrics collection and reporting.

p) Knowledge & expertise of Project Management principles, methods & techniques.

q) Experience in client-server, web services, n-tier architecture.

r) Should have executed at least one project from start to finish using Android.

s) The position requires an expert understanding of complex, multi-phased projects and the flexibility to work with multi-disciplinary, diverse and dynamic teams to deliver integrated solutions.
