Essential Qualification:
[A] (i) Graduate or its equivalent from a recognised University.
(ii) Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (by whatever name known) of not less than 02 years duration recognised by NCTE.
(iii) Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by CBSE New Delhi applicable for the teachers teaching class I to V in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE.
OR
[B] (i) Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
(ii) Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by CBSE New Delhi applicable for the teachers teaching class I to V in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE.
Age: The age limit for the posts of JBT is 21-37 years. Age is to be calculated as on 01-01-2018.
Fixed remuneration: Rs. 39422/- as revised from time to time by the society
Application fee: Rs. 800/- (Rs. 400 in case of SC) will be accepted through online mode/challan upto 29.10.2018 (upto 04:00 PM). Persons with disability are exempted for payment of fee as per instructions issued by Govt. of India.

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Society U.T. Chandigarh project is put under the control of Director School Education who performs as State Project Director (SSA). Education Secretary is chairman of the executive committee. Governing council is headed by Hon’ able Administrator of Chandigarh U.T. State Project Unit has been created by taking persons on deputation and contract. The State institute of Education performs as academic wing of the unit. In-service teacher training and research work is undertaken by it. Chandigarh is a small UT therefore no structure has been created at district sub district level. All schools have been divided in administrative 20 Clusters. Each cluster has about 5 to 6 schools. Cluster is headed by the head of respective senior secondary school.
