Qualifications : 

Junior Engineer (Civil), Central Water Commission : -  Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

Junior Engineer (Mechanical), Central Water Commission : -  Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

Junior Engineer (Civil), CPWD : - Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.

Junior Engineer (Electrical), CPWD : - Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.

Junior Engineer (Civil), MES : -  Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University Or (a) Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board; and (b) Two years experience in Planning, Execution and Maintenance of Civil Engineering works.

Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical), MES : -  Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University; Or (a) Three years diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board; and (b) Two years experience in Planning, Execution and Maintenance of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering works.

Junior Engineer (Civil), Farakka Barrage Project : - Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute or Board.

Junior Engineer (Electrical), Farakka Barrage Project : -  Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute or Board.

Junior Engineer (Mechanical), Farakka Barrage Project : -   Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute or Board.

Junior Engineer (Civil), Border Roads Organization, Ministry of Defence : -   Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute or (a) Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute/ Board; and (b) Two years working experience in Planning/ Execution/ Maintenance of Civil Engineering works.

Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical), Border Roads Organization, Ministry of Defence :- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute; or (a) Three years Diploma in Electrical/ Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute/ Board; and (b) Two years experience in Planning/ Execution/ Maintenance of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering works

Junior Engineer (Civil), Central Water Power Research Station :-  Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute.

Junior Engineer (Electrical), Central Water Power Research Station :-   Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute.

Junior Engineer (Mechanical), Central Water Power Research Station :-  Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute.

Junior Engineer (Mechanical), Directorate of Quality Assurance, (Naval) :-  Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute; or (a) Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution plus (b) Two years experience in the respective field.

Central Water Commission : max 32 yrs

Central Public Works Department (CPWD) : 32 yrs

Military Engineer Services (MES) : max 30 yrs

Farakka Barrage Project : max 30 yrs

Border Road Organization : max 30 yrs

Central Water and Power Research Station : max 30 yrs

Directorate of Quality Assurance (Naval) : max 30 yrs

National Technical Research Organization (NTRO) : max 30 yrs

Application Fee:  Application fee is Nil for SC/ST / PH/EXS and All Female candidates. For other candidates, Appliaction fee is Rs.100/- payable through SBI Challan or on-line payment through State Bank of India for on-line applications.

Selection Process :  The Examination will consist of two Papers i.e. Paper-I (Computer Based Examination) and Paper-II (Descriptive Type). Paper I (Computer Based Examination) will have 200 questions of 200 marks with 2 hours Duration. Paper II (Descriptive Type) will be of 300 marks and 2 hours durations. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.
