Junior Engineer – Civil / Lower Division Clerk/ Skilled Assistant Grade II (Electrician) recruitment in Cantonment Board St.Thomas Mount cum Pallavaram
1. Junior Engineer – Civil
No. of Post : 01 (UR)
Qualification : Passed in Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.E/B.Tech-Civil, approved by recognized institution. Desirable : Previous field experience and Basic Computer knowledge
Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800+4200GP
2. Lower Division Clerk
No. of Post : 02 (01 UR, 01 SC)
Qualification : Bachelor's degree in any stream, Typewriting passed in English lower.
Desirable : Candidates from Commerce background and knowledge in file management are desirable. Qualification in Computer (MS Office or equivalent)
Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200+ 2400GP
3. Skilled Assistant Grade II (Electrician)
No. of Post : 01 (UR)
Qualification : SSLC Passed. Must possess ITI certificate in the Trade of Electrician. Must have practical experience in the respective field for a period of not less than one year. Desirable : 1 year Apprenticeship training from State or Central Govt. Dept with National Board of , Apprenticeship , training.
Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200+2400GP
Age : 25 years
Process of Selection :
1. Junior Engineer – Civil (Re-designated from Overseer)- Written Test
2. Lower Division Clerk-Skill Test, Written Test
3. Skilled Assistant Grade II (Electrician)- Skill Test, Written Test
Examination Fee : The candidates have to pay fixed fee of Rs. 200/- through Demand Draft issued by any Nationalised Bank drawn in favour of the "Chief Executive Officer, Cantonment Board, St. Thomas Mount" & payable at Chennai, which should be enclosed with the application form. The candidates belonging to SC/Differently abled are exempted from payment of fee.
