Junior Project Fellow Hydrology Job Opportunity At G. B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development Himachal Regional Centre

Nature of duties/Project: DEST (Govt. of HP) funded project: Springshed management: A Strategy for Climate Change Adaptation through Inventory and Revival of Springs

Essential Qualification: First Class in M.Sc./M. Tech. /M.E. in Agri. Engg. (Soil & Water Conservation)/ Hydrology/Water Resource Development & Management/ Civil/ Environmental Engg. (with specialization related water resource) from recognized university

Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates having research experience/ knowledge of climate change effect on watershed processes, hydrological simulation modeling, soil and water conservation, water resource development and assessment works

Age Limit: 28 years. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and Women as per Govt. of India norms. 

Emoluments: Rs. 15,000 (fixed) p.m.
