Title :  "Timberline and Altitudinal Gradient Ecology of Himalayas, and Human Use Sustenance in a Warming Climate"

Qualification : First Class Masters Degree in Environmental Sciences/Geology/Geography/ Earth Sciences/ Hydrology/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Atmospheric Science. Desirable Experience of research work in Himalaya; Knowledge of ecological Modeling, statistical analysis and scientific presentations; Good communication skills

Age : 28 years

Emoluments : Rs. 16,000/ pm + HRA as per rule (for Non-NET)/ Rs. 25,000 pm +HRA as per rule (for NET-JRF qualified)

Title : "Forest Resources and Plant Biodiversity" under National Mission for Sustainable Himalayan Ecosystem (NMSHE)-Task Force-3

Qualification For Position 1: First class Masters Degree in Physics/Mathematics/Atmospheric Science/Climate Change/Forestry/Botany/Ecology/Remote Sensing & GIS

For Position 2: First Class Masters degree in Botany/Forestry/Environmental Sciences with consistently good academic records.

Desirable For Position 1:Experience of working in Himalaya; Knowledge of ecological Modeling, statistical analysis, programming, and RS & GIS; Good communication skills For Position 2: Field Research, data base development, data analysis and report writing/presentation

Age :  28 years
