Junior Project Fellow

In-House Project: 'Gridded biodiversity database for conservation and development in Sikkim Himalaya (focus: woody taxa)”

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  First Class Master degree in Forestry/Botany/Ecology/Life Sciences/ Remote Sensing & GIS/ Environmental Sciences, etc.

Desirable :  Preference will be given to candidates having field work experience in Himalaya region and database management.

Emoluments : @ Rs 25,000/- fixed per month + HRA(8%) for NET/JRF qualified persons @ Rs 16,000/- fixed per month + HRA(8%) for non NET qualified persons

Age Limit :  28 years maximum


Research Associate

NMHS funded Project : “Timberline and Altitudinal Gradient Ecology of Himalayas, and Human Use Sustenance in a Warming Climate”

Qualification  :  Ph.D. in Forestry/Botany/Life Sciences/ Remote Sensing & GIS/ Environmental Sciences, etc.

Desirable :  Preference will be given to candidates having experience in database management, and field work experience in Himalayan ecosystem.

Emoluments : @ Rs 36,000/- fixed per month + HRA (8%)

Age Limit :  35 years maximum


Junior Project Fellow
