Job Description

Applications are invited for the selection of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a research project 'Fabrication of Silicon Based Nanocomposites for High Energy Density Li-ion Anodes'.

Essential qualification required: (i) M.Sc., (Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science/ Nanotechnology) or (ii) M.E/M.Tech. (Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy & Materials Science, Materials Science, Nanotechnology or any relevant specialization).

Minimum of 60% marks in PG degree and GATE/ CSIR-UGC NET/National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and Agencies (DST/ DBT/ DAE/DOS/ DRDO/MHRD/ ICAR/ICMR/IIT/IISc/ IISER etc).

Candidates with strong knowledge on Li ion batteries will be preferred.

Duration: 24 months

JRF position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project tenure. The JRF will be encouraged to enroll for Ph.D. degree at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. The candidates are advised to send their detailed CV through email
