Job Description
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow
Junior Research Fellow (two posts): M.Sc. degree or equivalent (with minimum of 55% marks) in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology or other related field with NET/GATE qualification.
Good computer skills (Linux, Perl, Java, Python, MySQL etc.), along with proven experience in NGS data analysis, bioinformatics and/or advanced molecular biology techniques is highly desirable.
The qualification requirements and fellowship will be as per sanction in the project and/or as per SERB rules. The initial appointment may be for six months or as per recommendation of the selection committee, which can be extended on the basis of assessment of the candidate’s performance and discretion of the Competent Authority.
