Job Description
Applications are invited for a temporary post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (one post) to work in the research project titled “Analytical modeling of laser-assisted turning and milling processes” for the National Centre for Development of Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Processes for Clean Coal Technologies for Power Applications sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India through International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI) Hyderabad. The positions are purely temporary. The duration of the project is 3years.
The fellowship is as followed:
For JRF: at the rate of ₹25,000/- per month during 1st and 2nd years and ₹28,000/- for the 3rd year. House Rent Allowance (HRA) at the rate of 20%.
Qualification requirements for Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Metallurgical/Materials/Metallurgical & Materials Engineering (with the knowledge of finite element analysis of machining processes) with minimum 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) with GATE qualification.
OR
Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Metallurgical/Materials/Metallurgical & Materials Engineering with valid GATE score and at least CGPA of 8.0/10 or 75% of marks.
Note: For candidates with M. Tech. with GATE score, there is a possibility to register for Ph.D. in NIT Andhra Pradesh under the guidance of Principal Investigator (PI).
