Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF), to work in a DAE sponsored project "Surface Properties of Weyl semimetals" at the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology - Kanpur. The position is temporary and on contractual basis. The appointment will be made for one year.

Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (01 post)
Duration: 1 Year
Salary: Rs. 31,000/-
Eligibility: M.Sc in Physics with minimum of first class or equivalent along with NET/GATE qualification.
Desired Skills: Preference will be given to candidates having experience in ab-initio calculations of optical and excitonic properties using publicly available codes such as Quantum expresso, Berkley GW, YAMBO etc.
