•  Applications are invited for the post (1 No.) of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on DST-SERB Extra Mural Research funded project (EMR/2016/003320).
  
•  Title of the Project: Nanoparticles of different shapes conjugated with drugs to achieve enhanced therapeutic efficacy in treatment of cancer
•  Duration of the project: 3 years
•  Emoluments: Rs. 25, 000 p.m. (fixed) as sanctioned by DST-SERB.
•  Essential Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology/ Biotechnology/Biochemical Engineering/ Bio-process engineering/ Nanotechnology AND M.E/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology/ Biotechnology/Biochemical Engineering/ Bio-process engineering/ Nanotechnology and related disciplines with a minimum of first class (C.P.I or CGPA greater than 6.75 on a 10 point scale) at Bachelor’s or Master’s level. (M.E/M.Tech Candidates appearing for the last semester can also apply).

• Conduct research and perform various biochemical assays for nanoparticle-based delivery of drugs to cancer cell lines.
  
•  Design experiments, execute and analyze results. Write scientific reports; publish results in peer-reviewed scientific journals, national and/or international conferences.
•  Note: The post is purely temporary in nature. 
• The initial appointment is for 6 months with a provision to extend every six months till the completion of project subject to the approval of Director, VNIT.
