Applications are invited for walk-in interview for the posts of “Junior Research Fellow (JRF)” for a research project entitled “National Carbonaceous Aerosols Programme (NCAP): Working Group III - Emissions, sources apportionment and climate effects'' funded by the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Government of India.

1. Name of the post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Number of posts: 01 (One)

Nature and Duration: The post is purely temporary in nature, initially for 01 year and extendable upon satisfactory performance till the duration of project.

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 25,000 p.m. + HRA (as per institute rules)

Minimum qualifications: Post-graduate degree (M.E. or M.Tech.) in Civil/Environmental/ Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines from a recognized University/Institute in India or (M.Sc. with NET qualification) in Environmental Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related disciplines from a recognized University/Institute in India.

Desirable

• The candidate should be prepared to participate in field work.
• Good communication skills in English.

Walk-in interview

Walk-in interview will be held on 20 July 2018 in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi from 10:30 a.m.

Procedure to apply 

• Interested candidates may appear for the Walk-in interview on 20 July 2018 from 10.30 am to be held in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi 835215, Jharkhand.

• Candidates are required to bring original certificates, passport size photo, updated resume and self-attested copy of certificates for the walk-in interview.

• Applicants may also submit advance copy of application through detailed resume by e-mail TA/DA will be provided for attending the walk-in interview.

• Successful candidate may enroll for Ph.D. program of the institute after fulfilling the admission criteria.

• Hostel facility may be provided to selected candidate subject to availability and as per institute rules.
