Indian Institute of Forest Management Bhopal (IIFM Bhopal) invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow or Project Intern
No. Of Post: Two Posts
Period of engagement: For JRF/Project Intern - Twelve (12) Months The project involves fieldwork, and for that the JRF will be posted in the field (Barwaha, Madhya Pradesh) or in the head quarter (IIFM, Bhopal) as per the project requirements.
Emoluments: (a) JRF or Project Intern – 2 Posts @ Rs. 35,000/- (Consolidated) per month. TA/DA will be provided as per the norms of the Institute during the project fieldwork/ outstation visits. No other allowances are admissible.
Essential Qualification: The candidate should have Post Graduate degree/ diploma with 60% or equivalent grades points (GPA/CGPA) in water resources management/Agriculture Engineering/ Soil and Water conservation / Hydrology/ Civil Engineering/ Meteorology.
Engineering/Meteorology. Experience – Minimum 1 year working research or field experience in the field of hydrology/ soil and water conservation/ watershed development and management
Desirable qualification: NET/GATE or equivalent, knowledge on Hydrological measurement/ hydrology equipment handling and application/ Application of GIS in watershed hydrology/ Hydrological modelling (Mathematical/ Spatial)/ rainwater harvesting structural design and their implementation
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
