Amity University invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow / Project Assistant I
Number of posts: 02 (Two)
Name of the Research Project: “Single-Enzyme Bioanode for Electricity Generation by Oxidizing Phenolics in Enzymatic Fuel”
Name of sponsoring agency: Department of Biotechnology (DBT)
Duration of the position: 03 years
Fellowship / Monthly compensation: Rs. 20,000/- pm (consolidated and can be upgraded based on performance and availability of funding)
Essential qualifications: M.Sc. Chemistry with specialization / experience in Physical chemistry / Electrochemistry / Nanomaterials chemistry / Materials Sciences with minimum of 60% marks or equivalent (CGPA) from recognized University.
Desirable Qualifications: Following capabilities are highly expected from desired candidate.
a. Electrochemistry and electrochemical process including electrode fabrication/fuel cell fabrication techniques and skills.
b. Functional nanomaterials synthesis and electrochemical/fuel cell applications.
c. Spectroscopic and microscopic imaging-based nanomaterials characterization.
d. Must take the responsibility of developing my Electrochemical Energy Research Laboratory (a new research facility) under same project.
e. Strong scientific manuscript/document writing and communication skills. (only sincere and serious candidates are encouraged to apply). The PI looking for candidate who will pursue PhD under this project.
