Qualification : Minimum 55% in M.Sc. / M.Tech or equivalent degree in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geoinformatics. The candidate, who are in last semester of their M.Sc. / M.Tech Degree or equivalent may also apply. Preference may be given to the candidates with proven research experience & field knowledge as per requirement of the project. Desirable: Candidates having experience and knowledge in large data handling (satellite data and satellite data products, Census, NSSO, meteorological data etc.), with working knowledge of Hyperspectral/ Microwave Remote Sensing, R, Python, MATLAB software(s), GPS, DGPS etc., and Forest/ Geology/ Flood field survey will be preferred.

Emoluments Per month: Rs. 25000 + HRA for 1st and 2nd Year and thereafter Rs. 28000 + HRA for 3rd Year as SRF. Candidates, with M. Sc. Degree and without NET if selected, will be paid @ Rs.16000/- + HRA per month for initial two years and Rs. 18000 + HRA for the remaining periods with the designation of Project Fellow/ Senior Project Fellow respectively.

Duration: The fellowship will be offered initially for a period of Six months, which can be extended further depending upon performance of the candidate.
