Junior Research Fellowship
Project Title: Transient Pattern Evolution, Crystal Growth, and Deposition Kinetics from Drying Complex Fluid Microdroplets under Non-Tactile Fields(TKD)

Consolidated Compensation: Upto Rs.31000(depending upon qualification & experience)
Department/School/Centre: Mechanical Engineering
Qualifications: B.Tech/B.Engg. (Mechanical Engineering or equivalent) from reputed Institute/University with first class / with valid NET/GATE score. OR M.Tech/M.Engg. (in specializations related to thermal and fluids) from reputed Institute/University with first class.
Relevant Experience: The project is SERB funded. Very good knowledge/prior experience in microfluidics, heat and mass transfer, or in colloidal/complex fluids will be given importance.
Age Limit on the date of Advertimement : Upper age limit is 28 year. Relaxable upto 5 years in the case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/ Visually Handicapped and female applicant Candidates with experience in experimental/theroretical microfluidics and good background in higher engg. mathematics and knowledge of simulation/computation will be given preference. Project funding (by SERB) is for 24 months. Initial contract will be for 12 months. Based on good performance, the same may be extended by 12 months (subject to continuation of the project from the funding agency). Since it is 2 year project, as per institute norms, the candidate cannot convert to PhD from the project funding. If he/she wishes, he/she may apply separately for regular institute funded PhD.
