1. Junior Resident (Non-Academic)/1 Post

Essential: MBBS Degree with two years Research/Teaching experience. Desirable: One year experience in any hospital. Clinical drug trial and management of patient under various Kala-azar/ PKDL project. OPD and Indoor duty for treatment of Kala-azar/PKDL cases.

Pay Scale : Rs. 50,000

2. Research Scientist/1 Post

Essential: 1 st class Master’s Degree in Life Sciences from a recognized University with 2 years experience in related field. Or 2nd class Master’s Degree with Ph.D in relevant subject from a recognized University. Or BDS/B.V.Sc. degree with one year experience. Desirable: Expert in qPCR handling and analysis the data. Research input and implementation of the project in laboratory and carry out other laboratory work.

Age: 35 Years

Pay Scale: Rs. 40,000

3. Project Technician/1 Post

Essential: 12th pass in science subjects and two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or one year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organization or two years field/laboratory experience* Desirable: Two years experience in laboratory work as well as in field work is preferable. *B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years experience Sample collection from sites. Data management and work assigned by Project Investigator.

4. Laboratory Attendant /1 Post

Essential: High School or equivalent. Desirable: One year laboratory work experience. Sample collection from sites. Data management and work assigned by Project Investigator.

Age: 25 Years

Pay Scale : Rs.15,000

5. Research Scientist /1 Post

Project entitled “Prevalance of asymptomatic visceral leishmaniasis (VL) infection in HIV positive patients and risk factors for progression to symptomatic vL in highly endemic districts of Bihar” sponsored by Medicine Snas Frontieres (MSF).

Essential: 1 st class Master’s Degree in Life Sciences from a recognized University with 2 years experience in related field.
