Qualification : Graduation in any discipline (other than Engineering Degree) with English Typewriting Higher Grade (45 wpm) and English Shorthand Lower Grade (80 wpm).
Preference will be given to candidates with additional qualifications in Diploma in Computer Applications / Tamil Typewriting.

Maximum Age as on 01/01/2018: General Turn : 25 years SC : 30 years
Training Period : 2 years: 1st Year
Stipend: Rs.9,750/- p.m. 2nd Year Stipend: Rs.11,250/- p.m. (On successful completion of Training, the Trainees will be absorbed as Junior Steno-Typist Grade-III and placed in the Pay Scale of `7734-91-8189-99-8684-108-9224.

About Company
Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL)
was established by the Government of Tami Nadu during early eighties to
produce Newsprint and Printing & Writing Paper using bagasse, a
sugarcane residue, as primary raw material. The Company commenced
production in the year 1984 with a initial capacity of 90,000 tonnes per
annum (tpa). Over the years, the production capacity has been increased
to 2,45,000 tpa and the Company has emerged as the largest bagasse
based Paper Mill in the world consuming about one million tonnes of
bagasse every year. The Company completed a Mill Expansion Plan during
December 2010 to increase the mill capacity to 4,00,000 tpa.
