Junior Stenographer (English)

No. of Post : Two Posts (1 — OBC, 1 — UR)  
Qualifications & Experience : Essential  1. Matriculate or its equivalent with minimum speed of 80 w.p.m. in English Shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in English Typewriting. 2. Proficiency in English language. 3. Two years experience in the line. Desirable  1. Knowledge of Hindi Stenography and Typewriting. 2. Familiarity with secretarial work
Scale of Pay : Rs.5200 - 20200 + 2400 G.P.
Age : 30 years and below

L. D. C.

No. of Posts : Five Posts (1 — OBC, 3 — UR, 1 — PwD (VH)) 
Qualifications & Experience  : Essential  1. Higher Secondary or 10 + 2 or any equivalent examination. 2. Proficiency in Typing with a speed of at least 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi.
Scale of Pay : Rs.5200 - 20200 + 1900 G.P.
Age :18 - 28 years

The National School of Drama is one of the foremost theatre training institutions in the world and the only one of its kind in India. It was set up by the Sangeet Natak Akademi as one of its constituent units in 1959. In 1975, it became an independent entity and was registered as an autonomous organization under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, fully financed by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Training in the School is highly intensive and is based on a thorough, comprehensive, carefully planned syllabus which covers every aspect of theatre and in which theory is related to practice. As a part of their training, students are required to produce plays which are then performed before the public. The syllabus takes into account the methods of great theatre personalities who have shaped contemporary theatre in all its variety.
